JEREMY DEUTSCH
Jeremy Deutsch is the Managing Partner at Capitol Venture, LLC, a boutique public affairs firm in Washington, D.C. He has more than 20 years of experience in politics and state and federal government service at the highest levels with House Republicans, Senators and the Republican Administration.
As chief of staff of the House Republican Conference majority, he directed the organization’s revival that brought outstanding business executives, best selling authors, and academics together with powerful House committee chairs and leadership members. Deutsch drove adoption of cutting-edge and open-source apps, while positioning the House Republican Conference as a center for technological innovation in Congress.
Jeremy made the Conference a center for innovation and positive disruption on Capitol Hill. Deutsch pioneered the PowerHouse series, bringing in more than 100 business, government, civic leaders, and authors to introduce Members to 21st Century technologies and ideas from the private sector and academia. Among the innovations Deutsch brought to the Conference was the creation of a specialty media department focusing on outreach to groups that have not traditionally been Republican.
Mr. Deutsch has deep and far-ranging connections within the Administration, White House, and Senate leadership, as well as extraordinarily strong relationships on both sides of the aisle in the House.
Jeremy has earned a reputation as a premiere political strategist, not only for his work for former Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, but also for his advice and direction to the National Republican Campaign Committee and related organizations throughout the past decade.
Mr. Deutsch has been a top speaker and panelist for various conferences including the Congressional Institute retreat and Massive Conference, where he is prized for his sharp wit and deep insights into national politics.
Jeremy has also served as executive director of the Washington State Republican Party and on political staff for both the Ohio and Washington State Legislatures. He was also a pollster with Moore Information in Portland, Oregon.
Jeremy is a graduate of The Ohio State University and originally came from -- of course! -- New Jersey.
